MAFS is over, and it's about time for a new dating show to enter the chat (hopefully with a few less explosive dinner party fights and awkward walk-outs).
The new season of Farmer Wants a Wife has just begin, with a brand-new crop of farmers — perhaps the "hottest" yet? — ready to find love in the country. Can I get a yee-haw?
The 2026 season of Farmer Wants a Wife is already promising a mix of romance, heartbreak, drama and rural shenanigans.
The upcoming season features five farmers from across Australia, each ready to open their hearts and homes in the hopes of falling head over boots, and finding a wife.
Even host Natalie Gruzlewski seems blown away by the line-up of countrymen this season, calling this group "the hottest farmers ever".

FWAW fans will fall in love with almond grower Jarrad from Taylorville, rodeo cowboy and sheep farmer Dylan from Cherry Gardens, creative cattle and mushroom farmer Alex from Kin Kin, gentle giant and dairy farmer Jason from Coolabunia and energetic apple orchardist Zac from Forest Range.
This is everything we know about our incoming farmers.
Farmer Jarrad, the gentleman.
41, Taylorville, SA – Almond Farmer.

Almond Farmer Jarrad values kindness and believes in approaching life with an open mind and heart. He loves cooking for family and friends, an outdoor adventure and meaningful conversations.
Jarrad is looking for a genuine person who values honesty and building a strong partnership but doesn't take life too seriously.
"I value a partner who is family-oriented, caring, and nurturing. Good communication is important to me, as I believe honesty and understanding are the foundation of a strong relationship," he said.
"Overall, I'm looking for someone who shares similar values and is committed to building a meaningful, supportive connection."
Farmer Dylan, the rodeo cowboy.
24, Cherry Gardens, SA – Sheep Farmer.

A competitive rodeo cowboy and South Australian sheep farmer, Dylan prefers open skies over the glare of city lights.
This hard-working farmer splits his time between riding horses and chasing calves, and says variety is the spice of life.
With a passion for the outdoors and travel, Dylan is happiest when he's connected to nature or caring for orphaned wildlife. Dylan is looking for an assertive partner who is, above all, always honest with him.
"If you tell one lie, you go on to tell ten. So, I need a partner that is just straight up and doesn't play games," he said.
"A sense of humour is always appreciated so that we can laugh amongst the chaos and not take everything too seriously."
Farmer Alex, the romantic.
28, Kin Kin, QLD – Cattle and Mushroom Farmer.

This grounded, curious and creative cattle and mushroom farmer is an aspiring traveller who enjoys writing, music and dominating on the dancefloor.
When he's not getting down for boogie, he loves to cook Italian and Japanese cuisine, plus sport is also a big part of his life — from tennis to hiking, running and the gym.
As a big fan of live music, Alex's most cherished memories include friends, family and loved ones at gigs or festivals.
"I would like my partner to appreciate the importance of earnest connection with friends and family. I hope they are someone who stands by what they say and can lead with kindness," Farmer Alex said.
Farmer Jason, the gentle giant.
37, Coolabunia, QLD – Dairy Farmer.

This "gentle giant" admits he's a "bit of a softie" who is ride-or-die for his family and friends. Jason is outgoing, spontaneous and describes himself as a happy-go-lucky person with a wicked sense of humour.
This proud dad is ready to make memories and build a happy, adventurous life with a bubbly partner and his two young children — who are his world.
"I would like to find a partner that is family-oriented, as family is really important to me. My kids and my family are a big priority in my life. I am looking for someone that is trustworthy, willing to compromise and ultimately work as a team," he said.
"You can have your own career, and I'll support you in that. But, I'd also love to have someone who is up for travel. I believe that in farming you should still try and get away and explore, not just work every day."
Farmer Zac, the sweetheart.
24, Forest Range, SA – Apple Farmer.

Farmer Zac thrives in the middle of fun-filled family meals and social events. He has a huge passion for AFL as he's played for the same club since he was six years old.
The 24-year-old apple orchardist loves a laugh and is a baking enthusiast with crème brûlée and chocolate brownies on high rotation. Zac is looking for someone who is driven, goal-oriented and keen to support him.
"I am looking for someone who is outgoing and confident, that can get along with my mates and my family. I want someone who can fit in anywhere and is able to kick back, have fun and 'take the piss'," he said.
"Honestly, I can be a bit of a joker and enjoy banter. So, a lady with a great sense of humour and a laid-back attitude is what I need. She's got to be a great communicator who loves a good conversation."
