"Is the top shelf of your dishwasher too high to fit extra plates and other tall things? 

"There [are] buttons on each side of the top shelf. Lower it and your plates fit right in."

The foolproof way to dry your freshly cleaned dishes. 

There's nothing worse than waiting hours for your clean dishes to drip dry after they finish their dishwashing cycle. But @athomewithshannon says there's an easy way to get them water-free, STAT.

"When your cycle ends grab a dish towel, lay it over the top, close the dishwasher, and let it wait 10 minutes. The dish towel absorbs all the water."

Home hacks TikTok creator, Carolina Mccauley, has a simple solution to scuffed up silverware, and all you need is a ball of tinfoil.

According to the user, if you scrunch up your foil into a ball and pop it in your cutlery basket, your knives and forks will be shining and scratch-free.

TikTok account, vinepair, claims there are a few rules when it comes to loading your dishwasher, and it does look pretty tidy, if we do say so ourselves.

Don't:

• place everything at random
• place cups horizontally
• place bowls on the bottom rack

Do: 

• place mugs on one side, and glasses on the other
• place bowls on the top shelf, in the middle
• lay long utensils between the bowls and cups
• stack large plates on the bottom rack in the front row, and small plates in the back. 
• cutlery faces up

Blenders are the WORST to clean. But @mama_mila_ has a solution. 

"Blades are sharp and hard to properly clean," she writes.

All you need to do is fill half of your blending cup with water and a squirt of dish soap, then blend it up.
