'Tis the season to get down, down and dirty... on the dancefloor, and not just any dancefloor, the Dancing With The Stars ballroom floor to be precise.

The new season promises to deliver some serious entertainment, as actors, authors and athletes join forces with the best in the biz, to serve up a hot plate of delicious disco madness.

It should go without saying, we cannot wait to watch the stars do what they do best, whether they're sporting a seductive tango, whimsical waltz or a saucy samba, we're here for it all.

So in case you need a refresher on who the heck Mary Coustas is (who is starring on the new season), we've got you covered. Let's introduce you to the comedy-dancing duo.

If you're a fan of Aussie television, you've probably seen Mary around, the Logie award-winning actress and comedian is best known for her work inWogs Out of Workor her character Effie from the sitcomAcropolis Now.

This second-generation Greek-Australian is a proud woman, who has become a much-loved icon for Aussie fans.

Mary's hoping her theatrical skills pay off and play in her favour in front of the judges "I hope that it (performing) translates to the dance floor in a theatrical, emotive and impactful way."

However, Mary says she's got her eye on fellow contestant Pia, the pocket rocket and winner of Survivor Australia. "I know Pia and I know how strategic, hard-working and talented she is. She’s the one to watch."

Whatever the future may hold for Mary and her partner Aric Yegudkin the dancing champion, we cannot wait to watch.
