Author and blogger Constance Hall has announced she has separated from her husband Bill Mahon.
Constance, who has hundreds of thousands of loyal followers worldwide, wrote she and Bill have decided to “go [their] own ways” after spending the past few months living separately.
“This decision wasn’t made lightly, obviously he has been the love of my life but we just weren’t making each other happy anymore and have lived separate lives for so long now that it just seemed to fall that way,” she wrote on her blog, Like A Queen.
“We still love each other so much but we stopped enjoying each other and the kids stopped seeing happiness in our love, only contempt. It’s the right decision, despite being laced with doubt we have given ourselves so much time to consider all the options and I feel strong.”
The mum-of-four explained that the back and forth wasn’t good for their kids and that she wanted more consistency for them. She said only her and Bill know the full reasons for their split and that she still loves “him with every inch of me and I know he feels the same way about me”.

Her online reaction has been interesting: using her SM platform (again) to garner support and sympathy, rather than seeking privacy. I wonder how long she's going to last now - her book is out (and only appeals to a limited audience), and meanwhile, her tricks and subject material haven't changed or developed beyond the "Queen" schtick. Not sure that more stories about her family will extend to another book, or guarantee much longevity as a social media "celebrity". I guess publicising the drama of a messy marital breakup might stretch the 15 minutes out a bit further?
Doesn't anyone actually try you know...MARRIAGE THERAPY any more? Oh we love each other, but..but...but. Does TIL DEATH DO US PART mean nothing? You have children with him, you OWE it to them to try. Perhaps no fault divorce was a bad idea. It means people walk away without even trying. Marriage means nothing anymore.
