Nothing screams summer like sunglasses. They can really make or break an outfit. And not all sunglasses go with every 'fit (there, I said it).
Not to mention, in the harsh Australian sun, you can't step out the door without a pair, or you will be squinting and wincing all day long.
But the last thing you want to be 'giving' is petrol station sunnies. They are on your face for a lot of the day. They're important.
So we've looked into the sunglasses fashion crystal ball and found the best round-up of sunglasses that are hitting the 2025 trend forecast. And, more importantly, that look expensive but really aren't.
Watch: How To Colour Match Your Style. Post continues after video.
The biggest sunglasses trends for 2025.
Futuristic designs.
Bold, avant-garde shapes are taking centrestage, with metallic finishes, sharp angles, and gadget-like details dominating collections from brands like Vetements and Balenciaga.
Oversized frames.
The bigger-is-better philosophy continues to reign supreme, with chunky rims and exaggerated shapes making a strong comeback. Brands like Chloé and Miu Miu are re-imagining these retro-inspired silhouettes with modern twists.
Colour trends.
All-black frames are in. (Were they ever out?) But yellow-tinted lenses are also having a moment, and there's a surprising trend to watch out for: non-tinted lenses with UV protection.
Luxury details.
High-end brands are elevating eyewear with details like precious metal accents and refined engravings. They're also using unique materials like horn, leather and pearls. Basically, aim for statement rims.
Got all of that? Great. Here are the most paparazzi-, beach-, party-, summer-barbie-, or hiding-a-multitude-of-sins-worthy sunglasses to add to your cart for 2025, that won't break the bank.

But also, is it just me? But I like having a few different options to team with whatever theme I'm feeling on any given day.
