In a few quotes released from the interview she says:

“Bruce always had to tell a lie. He was always living that lie. Every day he always had a secret from morning to night.

“Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets. Soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out. I’m free.”

“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.'”

Other beautiful images expected to be included in the Vanity Fair story – released on June 9 – show the 65-year-old in a long evening gown.

In the accompanying video she talks about her new found freedom. Her life.

“The last few days of doing this shoot was about my life, and who I am as a person,” Caitlyn said.

“It’s not about the fanfare. It’s not about people cheering in the stadium. It’s not about going down the street and everybody giving you ‘Atta boy, Bruce,’ pat on the back. Okay? This is about your life.”

In April, Bruce Jenner spoke to American journalist Diane Sawyer in a tell-all interview where he asked that the pronoun ‘he’ be used at that stage when referring to him.

Caitlyn Jenner “I’m free.”

He told Diane Sawyer: “It’s going to be an emotional roller coaster but I’m going to make it through. I’ve been thinking about this day forever and what I should do with my life. How do I tell my story, how do I tell people what I’ve been through? I’ve been thinking about this day forever.

“I’ve tried to explain it to my children this way. God’s looking down making little Bruce. he’s looking down and he says, what are we going to do with this one. Let’s give him a soul of a female.

“My brain is much more female than it is male.

“I hate the phrase ‘girl stuck in a guy’s body.’ I’m just me.”

Diane asked the question whether Bruce was a woman and he replied, “Yes. For all intents and purposes.”

He’s keen to make a difference with his story: “What I’m doing is going to do some good and we’re going to change the world.”

When Caitlyn spoke to Diane Sawyer, as Bruce in April.

At eight or nine-years-old, Bruce admitted to trying on his sister’s dress. He admitted it made him “feel good”. Even today, he looks at women and thinks: “How lucky are they to wake up in the morning and be themselves.’”

Bruce made clear that his transition is not about his sexuality. He is and has always been heterosexual: “Sexuality is totally different than what my issues are.”

Bruce said he doesn’t identify as gay: “No, I’m not gay. I’ve never been with a guy.”

Kim Kardashian was the first person to know about Bruce’s transition because she caught him dressing as a woman. Bruce said: “It was like a big secret in the family that we never talked about again.” But when Kim asked again, “I told her all my issues, and then, after it was over with, I felt much better.”

When Bruce told all the Kardashians and Kendall and Kylie, they all cried — including Rob.

Bruce said “Kimberly” has been the most accepting. And apparently it was her husband Kanye West who turned her around. Kanye apparently told Kim: “I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, I can have the most beautiful daughter in the world, but I’m nothing if I can’t be me.”

Caitlyn Jenner, indeed a brave beautiful woman, can now begin the next phase of her life.

“I’m doing it to help my soul and help other people.” she told Vanity Fair. “If I can make a dollar, I certainly am not stupid. [I have] house payments and all that kind of stuff. I will never make an excuse for something like that. Yeah, this is a business. You don’t go out and change your gender for a television show. Ok, it ain’t happening. I don’t care who you are.”
