When Your Honor first landed on our screens in 2020, the series broke network viewership records in the US.
Now the internationally acclaimed Stan series is back for a second season and thanks to where the show left us in season one, the stakes are even higher this time around.
Much of the initial excitement around the launch of Your Honor was tied to Bryan Cranston taking on the show's lead role as a New Orleans judge named Michael Desiato.
While audiences first came to love Cranston via the fan-favourite sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, it was his iconic performance as Walter White in Breaking Bad that cemented him as TV royalty, and added to his awards stash which includes six Primetime Emmy Awards, four Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Tony Awards, and a Golden Globe Award, along with Academy Award and BAFTA Award nominations.
Take a look at the trailer for Your Honor season two on Stan.
In season one of Your Honor, which is an adaptation of an Israeli TV series called Kvodo, we are introduced to Bryan Cranston's powerful judge Michael Desiato, whose home and family life are incredibly strained.
It's been one year since the death of Michael’s wife and her murder still remains unsolved. Leading to Michael and his 17-year-old son Adam (Hunter Doohan) now having an incredibly shaky relationship.
Tragedy then hits the family again when, on the anniversary of his mother's death, Adam suffers an asthma attack while behind the wheel and drives directly into a teenager named Rocco on a motorcycle.
