Most people would agree the only thing worse than being seated next to someone else’s baby on a flight is being seated next to someone else’s fake baby on a flight.

Not likely though, you say, breathing easy… WELL, that’s exactly what happened not once BUT TWICE to one unlucky American woman.

Sara Nović found herself splitting an arm rest with a plastic doll during her redeye flight last week so did what anyone else in her position would do: silently shared commentary about it with her Twitter followers.

In fact she live-tweeted the whole ordeal, because what else could she do? And the result is a insomnia-inducing as it is hilarious.

Nović was very glass half full about the doll. At first.

Good news: no person in the middle seat next to me. Bad news: terrifying baby doll that belongs to the man in the window seat next to me.

The flight attendant is trying to explain to him why he shouldn’t put the doll’s name on the ticket next time he buys her one.

Things only get stranger from there.

Turns out, despite having forked out the money for A PLANE TICKET FOR HIS DOLL, the doll’s owner couldn’t afford an in flight meal.

Some updates. The man is also traveling with an entire bunch of bananas as a snack.
