Kate clears up those pesky baby rumours.

Booo. We were knitting a new batch of royal booties and everything…

Yesterday the world was sent into a spin when Prince William seemingly suggested a baby brother or sister was on the way for 8-month-old Prince George.

However, the latest news from the royals’ New Zealand tour suggests Duchess Catherine isn’t with child after all.

Wearing her trademark skinny jeans, the Duke and Duchess spent some time sampling the local drop at the Amisfield Vineyard yesterday – with Kate, 32, telling wine-markers that she was “really enjoying being able to drink again after having baby George.” We can imagine!

A source has also reportedly revealed that although the couple wants a bigger family in future, they are not expecting baby number 2 at present.

The young royals also indulged their adventurous side, taking a ride on the famous Shotover Jet, a heart-stopping jetboat ride in Queenstown's Shotover Canyon.

The couple changed into a waterproof coat and lifejacket for the ride, and yes, in case you were wondering, the Duchess even looked chic in that.

"William said to Kate ‘that was so much fun!’ and they were giggling as they came back to shore. Both a bit wobbly legged I think," an observer told Us Weekly.

The couple has arrived in Christchurch today.
