Will Ferrell certainly knows how to make a surprise appearance.

The Anchorman star showed up unannounced on the set of Chelsea Lately yesterday, driving a golf cart on stage while host Chelsea Handler was having a roundtable discussion. Sporting a handlebar mustache and Chicago Cubs jersey, Ferrell had some cruel, hilarious words to say to Handler, who started filming in her new, larger studio this week.

"This show's a joke," Ferrell tells Handler after making his dramatic arrival in the below video. "Whoever made the decision to give you this big fancy studio is an idiot. I should know, I've been on twice. Two of the worst days of my life. And I've been to jail six times, okay?"

Though Handler tried to keep a straight face, she quickly burst out laughing after his statements. He even brought her to tears (like Handler did to BFF Jennifer Aniston http://www.themotherish.com/what-made-jennifer-aniston-cry/154728 when she visited recently).

Ferrell then proceeded to make an eight-point turn with his golf cart during what turned out to be a very slow exit. Throwing a smirk over his shoulder at Handler, Ferrell finally drove off stage.

"I can't take him. I can't take his body or when he talks," Handler laughs while wiping away tears. "We're going to take a break so I can collect myself."

If only we all could get surprise Will Ferrell appearances like this, the world would probably be a much happier place!
