Here's the first look at the new psychological thriller Wilderness coming to Prime.

Prime Video has released the official trailer for the psychological thriller Wildernessa tale of betrayal that shows the devastation that is left behind following an intoxicating affair.

It follows British couple Liv (Jenna Coleman) and Will (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) who, with an apparently rock-solid marriage and a glamorous life in New York City, seem to have it all.

But when Liv learns of her husband's infidelity, there begins a "cat-and-mouse psychological chess game between husband and wife", says Coleman.

Written and created by BAFTA Breakthrough Brit Marnie Dickens and based on B.E. Jones' novel of the same name, the series lands on September 15.

In the official teaser trailer, we see the married couple embark on a road trip across the United States – something Liv has always dreamed of.

As they travel through the Grand Canyon to Yosemite before ending their wild weekend in Las Vegas, Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' plays in the background, dropping a big hint as to what we can expect from the show...

In a statement released before the SAG-AFTRA strikes, Coleman said it's a show "about co-dependency and freedom. Boundaries and blurred edges. Revenge and sanity, or the lack thereof. Ultimately Liv’s tale is one of survival – it becomes a very primal, visceral and feminine tale of coming into her own."

Wilderness also stars Cara (Ashley Benson) and Garth (Eric Balfour), a couple who *should* be happy together but... aren't.

Wilderness is driven by a female team (we love to see it), having been created by Marnie Dickens, directed by So Yong Kim, and executive produced by Elizabeth Kilgarriff.

Wilderness will be released on September 15, only on Prime Video.
