After coming runner-up in Blake Garvey’s season of The Bachelor and splitting with co-star Luke McLeod after meeting on Bachelor in Paradise, it’s safe to say Lisa Hyde hasn’t exactly been lucky in love.
But if reports are true, Lisa Hyde may be following Sophie Monk’s footsteps as Australia’s next Bachelorette.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the 31-year-old is tipped for the role, which is set to be announced on tonight’s episode of The Project – keep your eyes peeled.
We unpack a fairly uneventful week on Bachelor in Paradise, on our Bach Chat podcast. Post continues after.
We first met fashion designer Lisa Hyde on the second season of The Bachelor, where she was left heartbroken in South Africa when Blake Garvey rejected her in favour of Sam Frost in the season finale.
Following her time on The Bachelor, the sunglasses designer found love with travel blogger and model Tyson Mayr, who previously appeared on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
The two split in December 2016 after two years together spent travelling the world.
Most recently, Lisa dated Luke McLeod, who left Sophie Monk’s season of The Bachelorette roseless.
Lisa and Luke met on Bachelor In Paradise but the holiday romance didn’t last long with the pair splitting amid rumours Luke had been unfaithful.
During an appearance on The Project earlier this month, Lisa was asked if she would ever return to the Bachelor franchise.
“That’s a really tough one for me,” she said.
“Maybe if I had a chance to see the line-up going in, but I really want to meet someone the old-fashioned way.”
Only time will tell if Lisa Hyde is our next Bachelorette.
Cut the crap.
