An NRL player and Zac Efron's nemesis: Everything we know about The Bachelors.

It's beginning to look a lot like... Bachie season. Merry Bach-mas to those who celebrate.

That's right, The Bachelor Australia and Christmas will collide this year as, for the very first time, the Channel 10 franchise will air in December.

Plus, viewers will cop another series first, with the upcoming season having been filmed in Melbourne

And for the second time, the show will have three men at the helm: this time, Luke Bateman, Wesley Senna Cortes and Ben Waddell will be taking turns dating 24 ladies.

As the premiere date – December 3 – is fast approaching, it's time to find out everything we can about these three men on their search for love.

The Bachelor Australia 2024: Meet Luke Bateman.

Luke is a former NRL player who once played for the Canberra Raiders, but he left the sport in 2019 after suffering a knee injury.

But he has since embraced a new passion and profession... as a lumberjack.

Yes, they've cast an actual lumberjack. No, this isn't a sexy dream, you're very much awake.

He's been sold in his The Bachelors bio as 'Luke the Lumberjack', he's a softie, a country boy, and recently split from his fiancée. Now Luke is ready to find love again and he's choosing to do it... televised.

"This is the opportunity of a lifetime, and I’m feeling all the first date nerves – dialled up to 11,” Luke said.

“I’m looking for a partner who I can build and share a life with, a genuine person who makes me laugh and wants to start a family.”

The Bachelor Australia 2024: Meet Ben Waddell.

Aussie model Ben Waddell is already being dubbed the 'Prince Charming' of the season.

Waddell has modelled for brand campaigns like Country Road, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren.

He also works as a sustainability entrepreneur and this isn't Ben's first brush with fame either – he appeared on A Current Affair in 2021 to claim that a Netflix series starring Zac Efron, Down to Earth, was copied from a pilot episode he had shopped around in 2017.

The Melbourne man has spent the past 12 years living in New York, focusing on his work aiding eco-friendly start-ups. But Ben has returned home and is looking for a woman who wants the whole package: marriage, kids and a life of adventure.

“It’s such a surreal experience to take part in the new Bachelor series, and while I feel incredibly lucky, it’s also very daunting,” he said.

“I’ll be going in with an open mind and an open heart to find the girl of my dreams.”

The Bachelor Australia 2024: Meet Wesley Senna Cortes.

This Brazilian influencer and actor is ready to bring the heat. Wesley Senna Cortes moved to Australia to study theology, and now he's on a quest to find the girl who will transform his life for the better.

Born and raised in Brazil, Wes has overcome his parents’ divorce during his younger years, his pastor father leaving his family, and his mother dying from breast cancer at the age of 45.

Throughout his dating life, Wes has struggled to find the elusive 'One' as he doesn't often move beyond the early dating stages, which makes him extra eager to build a meaningful and lasting connection.

"It’s a huge honour given what the show means to Australia, but also to represent my culture," he said.

"It’s not every day that you have such an incredible team helping you find love. I couldn’t be more excited."

The Bachelors Australia premieres on December 3 at 7:30pm on 10 and 10 Play.
