The humble white sneaker will soon be de-throned if the Kardashians have anything to do with it.
Enter the Vans Old Skool sneaker in black and white, much-loved sneaker of everyone from Kendall, Kylie, Kim and Kourtney, as well of a sprinkling of other stars who don’t mind heading out in public with the iconic – and relatively cheap – sneaker hugging their feet.
The sneaker, which is absolutely no stranger to our wardrobe, first made their debut in 1977 as the skater brand's low-top design, with their now-iconic "jazz stripe" brandished across the side. Forty years later, they've wandered back onto our radar, becoming this season's sought-after sneaker and certainly one that a) won't break the bank or b) break your feet.
Both Kourtney and Kim Kardashian posted all over their respective Instagram and Snapchat accounts in April, with their feet neatly tucked into a pair of Vans. Weeks later, they had their kids running around in their own pair.
