The man who wore a tutu to raise awareness about breast cancer.

A few years ago, Bob Carey made headlines around the world.

The reason? He was the man who wore nothing but a tutu and posed for photos in locations around the United States.

Bob undertook the challenge to create awareness for breast cancer following his wife Linda’s 2003 diagnosis.

Three years on and one book later, Bob is still wearing his tutu.

But he wants other people to do so too.

#Dare2Tutu, his latest challenge, asks other men to join in with the tutu craze. All they have to do is buy a tutu, put it on, take a photo and upload it to Facebook.

It’s a competition – and all money raised goes directly to a not for profit that provides daily costs for women who are suffering from breast cancer.

It also helps get the message out further:

Bob has been raising money for breast cancer research since his wife Linda was diagnosed twelve years ago.

“Her cancer has taught us that life is good, dealing with it can be hard, and sometimes the very best thing—no, the only thing—we can do to face another day is to laugh at ourselves and share a laugh with others” he said.

We couldn’t agree more Bob.
