The newly wedded couple have been together for six years and engaged for the past two.

Adams and Belissario told Hello! they couldn’t have wished for anything more from their wedding.

“Our dream was to have a weekend that not just celebrated our wedding but celebrated and thanked our incredible community of friends and family that have been so instrumental in helping us survive seven years of a long distance relationship,” the couple said.

“It has really been the most powerful, transcendent, hilarious, joyful and emotional weekend of our lives. We are filled with so much love and gratitude and can’t imagine a better way to begin this new chapter of our lives together.”

Guests were brought to the location in blanket-filled buses with ‘almost married’ scrawled along the back.

A camping ground peppered with the kind of tents you’d only see on Pinterest was arranged for guests to stay overnight.

The tables of the reception were elaborately decorated with a balance of delicate foliage, candles and fabric.

Even the wedding cake carried out a perfectly beautiful yet alternative spin to the classic recipe of white layers and miniature models.
