A three-year-old boy has died in hospital after being hit by a car in a driveway in Victoria’s north west.

Police said the child was hit at a property on Cramp Road, in Robinvale, near Mildura, shortly before 4:30pm on Monday.

He was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and later died.

“The incident is being treated as a tragic accident,” Victoria Police said.

Police are preparing a coroner’s report on the accident.
