Surprisingly, it wasn’t over Anna Heinrich.
Tim Robards says he was a blubbering mess after getting the boot from I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. But it wasn’t being separated from his lady love, Anna Heinrich, that caused the water works on the plane trip home.
It was actually a soppy movie that he watched during the flight back from the South African jungle that got the tears rolling.
“I think it was a build-up of emotions from the camp and the realisation of how much I love having Anna in my life,” Tim told The Sunday Telegraph.
And the chiropractor/fitness fanatic also shared the hardest part about being in the jungle. "It was just so hard. One of the biggest things was the lack of food. This results in a lack of energy and therefore a lack of personality. You lose a little bit of who you are in there,” he said.
"What made it even harder is that we went straight in after catching three planes so we were also very tired. I got to the end of that first week and had lost 5kg,” Tim went on to say.
After last night’s episode Tim revealed that if Anna makes it through to the finale, he will fly over to be reunited with his girlfriend.
“#CelebAnna lives on, thanks so so much 4 voting, now another 20 votes for tomorrow! If she makes it to thurs I'll fly over!” he tweeted.
We hope for Tim’s sake that if that’s the case, he can keep it together on the plane trip back to the jungle.
