How to make scones with just three ingredients.

No butter. No milk. Nothing fancy.

So the other day MWN podcast host Monique Bowley and I were locked in a conversation about scone eating etiquette (specifically, whether the cream or the jam goes on scone first) when the conversation turned to the best scone recipe.

Monz said you could make scones with just three ingredients (4 cups of self-raising flour, one can of lemonade and one tub of cream) – and I didn’t believe her.

So she showed me.

(For the record, Monz came 4th on Australia’s Greatest Bake Off).

There you have it. Scones with just three ingredients.
