There is so much bad news around. Well, that’s not necessarily true. There’s so much bad news in the news because that’s what the news is, really. Bad. SO RARELY do we hear about happy things. Positive stories about wonderful people doing good things.

So PLEASE if you find any such stories in your travels around the Interweb, send them to me here. I want to feature more good news stories to inspire us and put a spring in our steps. Let’s kick off with a three-legged elephant called Mosha.

This is Mosha the elephant, who lost her leg to a landmine near the Thai-Burmese border

at the tender age of seven months old. She was taken in by the Friends of the Asian Elephant hospital in Lampang, Thailand and in 2007, became the first elephant ever to receive a prosthetic leg.
