By now we've established that the women of The White Lotus have a thing for Australian brands. We've spotted looks from Zimmermann and Monday Swimwear on the series — but Sydney ready-to-wear label Alemais has had the most screen time.
Series' costume designer Alex Bovaird has styled several members of the cast in looks from the popular brand, including Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb and Parker Posey.
Watch: Jaclyn Lemon is confronted with her biggest fear. Post continues below.
In key art for the series, Monaghan is seen wearing an Alemais design — the Silas Mini Halter Dress in a yellow floral print. It's the look she wears when we're first introduced to her character, TV actress Jaclyn Lemon, in episode one.

In the scene, she's accompanied by her two friends, Kate and Laurie, as they embark on a boat trip towards The White Lotus. It's here that we start to notice the hierarchy that exists between her friendship group — and fashion plays a subtle part in establishing that dynamic. Jaclyn is the celebrity, and her outfits are very A-lister on holidays.
She's brought a suitcase full of bold designer pieces, including a sequinned Valentino minidress, bright Chanel kaftan and several logo-emblazoned luxury accessories, but Bovaird chose Alemais' floral sundress for her debut.
The halterneck silhouette has a chic, Old Hollywood vibe, which Bovaird complemented with oversized sunglasses, a white Valentino handbag and Chanel wedges.
Jaclyn is seated in the middle of the trio on the boat, and positioned front and centre when the group meet their hosts on the island. We understand from that exchange that this is The Jaclyn Show. And the dress, with its striking design, more than meets the moment.

Understandably, searches for Alemais and the Silas Halter Mini Dress have skyrocketed since the series aired. The style has sold out across the web, but there are some similarly striking Alemais designs available — including the Emilio Midi Dress, which has the same neckline and cut-out detail and is currently on sale. Win-win!

The third instalment of the cult TV show has further leaned into its style credentials, giving us a feast of chic resortwear against a balmy Thailand setting.
If the psychedelic cut-out dress that Leslie Bibb wore in episode four — only to be sprayed with a thousand water guns — caught your eye, now you know: it's another sold-out design by Alemais.

While the members of the Ratliff family have mostly been styled in preppy pieces by American designers, matriarch Victoria Ratliff (played by Parker Posey) has a thing for kaftans, and wore a patchwork-print Alemais "pool dress" for a scene in her suite in episode four.

Alemais isn't the only Australian label to get the White Lotus treatment, with iconic brand Zimmermann also featuring heavily.
It's not surprising, given the label's resortwear styles have popped up in previous seasons on Meghan Fahy and Jennifer Coolidge (RIP Tanya).
This time around, you might've noticed Carrie Coon's character, New York lawyer Laurie, in the brand's yellow one-piece swimsuit, or a tropical print picnic dress.

Ratliff middle child Piper, played by Sarah Catherine Hook, was dressed in Zimmermann's paisley-print linen midi-dress for a significant plot point: when she revealed her plans to move to Thailand to pursue Buddhism.

Costume designer Alex Bovaird told Vogue her styling for the show was reflective of the way affluent types dress on holidays.
"They're imagining a slightly more exotic life, and so maybe they're buying more flamboyant clothes," she shared.
"Especially when they stay somewhere like The White Lotus. You've gone all out, so you're not going to just go down to the pool in the hotel robe. You might have packed something just for the occasion."
Consider her costuming choices further proof that our local brands really do vacay chic the best.
