This. is. it. For the past four weeks, we’ve shamelessly watched 12 giant animals sing on stage and taken the nation’s weirdest guessing game a bittoo seriously.

We’ve seen some bizarre back-up dancing, witnessed some of Osher’s most spectacular suits, been moved to tears by a giant pink Monster and had the ultimate noughties throwback when we were reminded that Nikki Webster is, in fact, a fully-fledged adult.It’s been a lot.

Gretel Killeen, Wendell Sailor, Brett Lee, Nikki Webster, Darren McMullen, Adam Brand, Kate Ceberano, Paulini and Deni Hines have been unmasked.

While we obviously already knew the not-so-secret identities of the final three celebs, we’ve come too far to not watch Wolf, Robot and Monster get unmasked.

Wolf kicked off the first performance of the night with his rendition of ‘Come Together’ by The Beatles… and how could the judges hear anyone else but Rob Mills?

Monster was up next and gave an emotional performance of ‘What about us’ by Pink, and Jackie O finally clued on and guessed Gorgi Coghlan.

Robot was the last up to the stage, singing Lady Gaga’s ‘The Edge of Glory’.

Then came the moment we’d been waiting for all season. The final unveil.

Monster came in third place and was the first to be unmasked. When the furry pink suit finally came off, it was, of course, television presenter andThe Projecthost Gorgi Coghlan. And while her co-host Dave Hughes didn’t pick Gorgi’s secret identity, the entire nation certainly did.

Throughout the show, Wolf’s performances have always been a howling success, but in the end he was destined for second place.

When it came to Wolf’s identity, Dannii Minogue had the winning pick when she guessed Australian singer and actor, Rob Mills.

And last but not least, Robot was revealed to be none other than Cody Simpson. Lindsayfinallygot one. But… so did the rest of Australia.

In the end, Cody took home the title of Australia’s favourite Masked Singer and an average looking trophy. Yep, that’s all he got.
