In November 1969, 26-year-old nun, Sister Cathy Cesnik was reported missing in the Baltimore area after disappearing from a Friday night shopping trip.

Her beaten body was discovered two months later in a Baltimore County field. Nearly 45 years later, her murder remains unsolved.

This is the premise for Netflix's latest'whodunnit' seven-partdocumentary,The Keepers- the mysterious murder of a nun who knew too much.

Many former students of the beloved teacher and residents share their thoughts surrounding the unsolved murder case, including the involvement of Father Joseph Maskell, the chaplain of Archbishop Keough High School in Baltimore, and the Catholic Church's sway over local authorities.
