All the proceeds from the day will be donated to Hagar.

"We learned about the incredible work Hagar do a few years ago at a dinner party. In a nutshell, Hagar provide counselling, support and education to women who have survived human trafficking, slavery and other human rights abuse in Cambodia, Vietnam and Afghanistan," says Style for Life Ambassador and ELEVEN Australia Co-Creative Director Joey Scandizzo.

"It hit home when you listen to how hairdressing has been the career of choice for many of these incredible women and children. Once we heard that there’s an estimated 45 million people in slavery today, we thought ‘how can we help and get involved?’"

All you need to do is visit elevenaustralia.com/styleforlife and make a booking at a participating Style For Life salon this Sunday.

A haircut, new style or even just a blowdry for you can help make a difference for them.

The aim for 2016 is to make it the biggest year to date, with the team hoping to raise $60,000 which would help support many women through Hagar's economic empowerment program. Over $161,000 has been raised since the inaugural event in 2013.

If you can't get to the salon, ELEVEN Australia will be donating one dollar from every sale of its limited-edition Miracle Hair Treatment during June and July to the cause.

"I just love that we have an event that unites the hairdressing community and is a great opportunity for us to give back and help change the lives of so many women and children, it makes me so proud to be a part of this incredible industry," says Scandizzo.
