Three Aussie radio presenters made an epic Bachelorette claim and our minds are exploding.

Please, be seated. This is important.

It’s about Sophie Monk, and the very-serious-not-at-all-trivial question of her relationship with Stu Laundy.

You see, on breakfast radio on Thursday morning, it seems some things were said, and those things need to be explored.

During ‘Chrissie’s Celebrity Stuff,’ a frankly excellent segment of Nova 100’s Chrissie Swan, Sam Pang and Jonathan ‘Browny’ Brown shared some very interesting celebrity gossip with his co-hosts.

“We’ve been out digging,” he told Chrissie, who is usually the one to bring the goss. “We did hear from very good authority that Sophie Monk…”

“OMG I love it already!” Chrissie interrupted.

“…Sophie Monk has a boyfriend, and it is not Stu Laundy.”

WOT.

We repeat: It is NOT Stu Laundy.

But... but... how? And why? And most importantly, how?

"What do you mean?" asked Chrissie, putting our very legitimate concerns into comprehensible words.

"The magazines are circling," said Brown. "And the said man, the said boyfriend, Melbourne-based, around the club scene, apparently, whatever that means... they're circling, and just preparing how to handle the magazine bombshells when it is revealed."

GOODNESS.

"Do you believe that it's true?" Chrissie asked, because if a third party believes a story is true it simply must be. And it turns out... it turns out Browny does believe it.

Listen: The Mamamia Out Loud team discuss this below. (Post continues...)

He went on to explain that this interaction obviously happened at the golf course (where all the best gossip is shared), and that while his source named Sophie's current boyfriend, he didn't want to repeat that name on radio. Because, respect etc.

"He has been named in gossip pages, and she did know the fella before she went into the house," said Brown. "It was reported in the gossip pages that she may have made a phone call to said man and asked for him to be the intruder, and that did not happen."

So - is Sophie Monk secretly dating a man who isn't Stu Laundy, and is this news about to be shared by magazines around the country? Is The Bachelorette and all it represents a lie?

Only time (and, you know, maybe actual facts) will tell.
