Are you? I’ve known about Twitter for a bit but I’ve resisted until now because….well, I didn’t really understand it. But I went to a work dinner last night and some of my colleagues explained to me how it works and how to use it in a different way to mamamia. So I’m giving it a whirl being the pop cultural sheep that I am.

you ask. Now that I’m a 48 hours expert, allow me to explain. In short, it’s like micro-blogging. You have 140 characters in which to say something about what you’re doing or make an observation. So you must be frugal with your words. Or, you don’t have to say anything, you can just follow other people. I did that for a while. It’s like visiting blogs without commenting. I do that too. My favourite part of Facebook was always reading other people’s status updates and writing my own…..Twitter is like that.
