“We’re gonna do a lot of fun things for the first time.”
A new promo has been released for the E! Network’s up coming docu-series, “I Am Cait.”
The series will follow the journey of Caitlyn Jenner as she embarks on her new life. Jenner says the show will be a series of firsts.
“We’re gonna talk about everything. We’re gonna do a lot of fun things for the first time. We’re gonna go shopping for the first time,” she said, adding, “maybe some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle. Because girls do that too.” Kim Kardashian has famously referred to Caitlyn as a “tomboy”, because she enjoys doing “boys things”.
In the clip, Caitlyn not only explains why she’s doing the series (“I’m telling my story”), she also goes some way to explaining how she, and so many other transgender women, feel about their pre-transition appearance.
“People don’t understand looking into the mirror and nothing seems right,” she says. “Putting on clothes that you just really don’t identify with. This is about getting to be who you really are.”
The clip closes with a powerful reflection: “It’s going to be quite a journey,” Caitlyn concludes. “We’re going to do some good.”

Shopping and motorbikes, and a really important story. Caitlyn Jenner appears to be extremely content, spending time with friends and family, including her youngest daughter, 17-year-old Kylie.
The series is set to air on the E! Network in July.
