A new Game of Thrones trailer has dropped and there's a clue about the next big death.

THERE ARE ONLY 24 MORE SLEEPS.

According to my calculations, that’s just a little over three weeks until season seven of Game of Thrones finally drops, and our lives once again have purpose and also direction.

Yesterday, HBO dropped a second trailer for the long-awaited series and goodness gracious everyone is very excited.

The two minute snapshot is loaded with clues for what is in store for us for the seven-episode-long season.

LISTEN: Mamamia’s TV podcast The Binge discusses everything we know about season seven of Game of Thrones. Post continues below.

Firstly, Littlefinger is being particularly suss. It appears that he is advising Sansa Stark on her latest move, whispering through his characteristically gritted teeth, “Don’t fight in the North. Or the South. Fight every battle. Everywhere. Always. In your mind.”

GOT theorists are convinced this signifies the growing divide between Sansa and Jon Snow, which Sansa herself has alluded to in interviews.

Oh… oh I don’t like that.

In the previous trailer, Snow is featured fighting with Littlefinger, and it appears there will be greater tension over how to defeat their enemies, who has the greatest claim to Winterfell, and who – ultimately – will rule the Seven Kingdoms.

Secondly, the dragons have grown and are no longer... cute. They are massive and threatening.

Thirdly, there are new alliances. Fans have predicted an alliance between Cersei and the Night King, which seems unlikely but entirely plausible.

Fourthly, someone made Bran a wheelchair, and an old man is creepily watching him and no one has any idea who that is.

Fifthly, the final line of the trailer has undoubtedly caused the greatest stir.

Sansa Stark says, over a shot of Jon Snow fighting an army, seemingly alone, "When the snows fall, and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies. But the pack survives."

JON SNOW. HE IS THE ULTIMATE LONE WOLF.

As Snow battles a White Walker, forums all over the web are predicting the unthinkable: Jon Snow dies. Again.

Kit Harrington said in an interview with SFX magazine, "I felt safe in season six because I thought it would be bad storytelling to kill me in the [same] season I'd been resurrected..."

But as for seasons beyond six, it's back to business. He's in mortal danger like anyone else."

Rumours are also circulating of a new villain, worse than any we've seen before.

Pilou Asbæk, the actor who plays Euron Greyjoy, said in an interview with Empire magazine, that former characters like Joffrey Baratheon and Ramsay Bolton are nothing compared to what we're about to see.

“The psychos I've encountered have so many different sides to them. So each scene I've done with Euron, I pick a new thing I wanna show: ‘This scene I want to be charming.' 'This scene I wanna be a molester.' 'This scene I wanna kill someone.’"
