Actress Scarlett Johansson thinks she’s found the answer to settling newborns.

Surprisingly, it’s got nothing to do with lullabies.

An insider told Us Weekly that the 30-year-old actress soothes her 11-month-old daughter, Rose, by singing jazz music. We totally think this would be something Johansson should do. There you have it.

“When Rose is screaming, the nanny gives her to Scarlett. Scarlett is the only one that can calm her down," the source said.

They went on to add that Johansson, “likes to sing Nina Simone and Anita O’Day as well as her own songs, too. Scarlett has a beautiful voice, and Rose will stop crying immediately!”

On new motherhood, Johansson told Parade in April, “The biggest joy that I have is looking at my daughter."

“When I’m just hanging out with her and we’re doing silly stuff and if I make her laugh, the feeling of joy I have is explosive…if only you could actually bottle that and carry it around," she concluded.
