Australian woman Sara Connor, who has been jailed in Bali for her role in killing an on-duty police officer, has told her lawyers she will not appeal against her four-year sentence.
The 46-year-old’s legal team say she is traumatised and scared of the court system in Bali and has strongly indicated to them she will not challenge the sentence.
The prosecutor’s office in Bali revealed on Friday it would seek to increase the Australian’s sentence in Bali’s High Court.
It is common in Indonesia for sentences to be increased on appeal.
