Ryan Reynolds ‘ character in his latest movie blockbuster Deadpool, is one that, for the most part, has the new dad entirely zipped up in a red suit – face and all.

While fans are excited for the 39-year-old’s debut as the Deadpool superhero, he has one little fan that finds him very terrifying.

Reynolds one-year-old daughter, James is petrified of her dad in his costume.

“I made the baby cry every time the baby saw me in that makeup,” he told PEOPLE. “You would know as soon as she saw me that she would need the diaper changed. Everything would evacuate, every bodily fluid. It was horrible!”

Co-star T.J Miller, who plays Weasel in the film said that Reynold's daughter was definitely scared of her dad.

"It was a bit of a freak out situation — I mean, your father suddenly looks like Deadpool. There were some tears. I was on set that day. Ryan came out in his makeup and said, ‘I just horrified my daughter!’" he said.

Deadpool will be playing in Australian cinemas tomorrow, February 10 and it looks like it's going to be an amazing superhero blockbuster.

Hopefully we're not as scared of Reynolds as his daughter is.
