A Birkin-filled glam room and an office hair salon: Inside Roxy Jacenko's beauty routine.

They say Kris Jenner works hard, but Roxy Jacenko works harder.

Not only is the Aussie PR queen the CEO of multiple businesses – Sweaty Betty PR, Ministry of Talent, Pixie’s Bows and Roxy’s Bootcamp, to name a few – she’s also a soon-to-be reality TV star, with her own reality TV show I Am Roxy debuting on Channel Ten next week.

Watch what happened when Roxy Jacenko came into the Mamamia office, post continues after video.

The mum-of-two’s brand is over the top glam and when Roxy gave us an exclusive rundown of how she gets ready every day on Mamamia’s You Beauty podcast, we learnt her beauty routine is no different.

From how she outsources her twice-weekly hair washing to her surprisingly low key skincare routine, here’s how Roxy Jacenko looks like ‘Roxy Jacenko’ everyday.

Surprisingly, Roxy’s skincare routine is really basic.

“I am lazy when it comes to skincare, it comes down to time, so if it’s not quick and in front of my face, I don’t really use it… until I get to a situation when I look at myself and think, best you do something about that,” she said.

“For cleansing, I want something quick in the shower that I can wash straight off. I don’t like to get too wet either, it’d spoil my spray tan. I spritz my face with a mist because I find it very refreshing and it wakes me up. I’m also not really one for serums and I don’t use eye cream. My mum keeps telling me, ‘you’re 39 and you’re going to look like 89 if you don’t start using an eye cream’.”

When I asked Roxy about her makeup routine, her answer was: "Do you think I did this?"

"I don't do my own makeup because I am the most stupid person when it comes to the application of makeup. I've even had makeup lessons. When I put it on,  it just seems to slide off."

"On the weekends, I don't really wear anything. I'll always put foundation on because I've got red cheeks from rosacea, and I've gone from using a brush to a beauty blender because I find the coverage is better. If I use a brush, I'm stripey and all over the place. I don't use concealer, I just slap on that foundation thicker and thicker. I ask for the Kim Kardashian natural look.

"Most of the things I buy in terms of makeup, even if I can't really apply it myself, is because I've seen a makeup artist use it. That to me means that must be a key product I should have because they know what works and what doesn't. I never wear anything on my lips. I refuse lipstick. I look like a Christmas cracker with lipstick on. Every time I get my makeup done they'll ask if I want to do a lip and I'll say, 'step away from me with that pencil'. I also never wear lip balm, I reckon it dries out your lips more than to begin with. I just lick my lips when they're getting dry. People do find it really weird..."

You should know, Roxy also doesn't wash her own hair. Just like her approach to makeup, she prefers to let someone else handle it.

"I don't do my own hair... I can't! I never wash my own hair either. I'm just not good at that stuff so I like to leave it to the professionals. My house has a glam room with a hair washing basin, so does my office. I get my hair done every three weeks. My hair is actually quite short so I've get extensions in."

"I'm an ambassador for John Frieda so they'll use those products on my hair. My mum has used the Frizz Ease range since it launched to market, so I have grown up with it in my family bathroom for as long as I can remember. I do use dry shampoo when I'm travelling. I like R+Co because of the packaging, but it's good for travelling because normally I have my hair done every second day. Klorane dry shampoo is good too if you've got darker roots."

Roxy said she's pretty low key when it comes to fragrances, but the one thing she always does is tan.

"I used to have a spray tan every Thursday, but the thought of spraying myself in winter, I just can't do it. I'll always get a spray tan if I've got a shoot, but if I've got something on, I've been using an Irish tan brand SOSU that all the Irish who live in Australia swear by."

"I find fragrances wear off so quickly, but it's one of those things where I'm always in such a rush, it's not a necessity. When I get in the car with Ollie when I've got it on, he says I stink. My fragrance is pretty much Rexona antiperspirant."

Roxy's favourite expensive beauty buy.

On her beauty splurges, Roxy said: "I love La Mer, their products are very, very nice but they are indulgent. The moisturiser is beautiful."

Roxy's favourite budget beauty buy.

And finally, her favourite cheapie beauty purchase is good ole Radox bath salts.

"A bath is magnificent, especially when you've done your hair and makeup but you need a wash. I've got all the fancy ones and they look lovely on the shelf, but Radox is marvellous."

Radox Bath Salts, $6.50.
