Roxy Jacenko, her husband Oliver Curtis and two kids Pixie and Hunter are on their first family holiday together since the former investment banker was jailed for conspiracy to commit insider trading in June last year.
Less than a fortnight after the 31-year-old’s release from Cooma Correctional Centre, the family have decided to escape from Sydney’s wintry weather to beautiful Bali.
The family were spotted at Sydney Airport on Wednesday and since then, Roxy (and five-year-old Pixie) have been active on Instagram, posting poolside photos.
“Woke up in Bali,” the 37-year-old captioned a photo of herself in front of a mirror in a white bikini.
They are staying at Alila Villas Uluwatu – a luxury resort in southern Bali where rooms for a family of four go for around $2400 per night.
It’s been less than two weeks since Oliver and his family’s emotional reunion. Roxy told Mamamia that she made sure Pixie and Hunter, 3, were under the impression their father had been in China on a business trip the entire time.
Oliver was jailed for his role in an insider-trading conspiracy, which was revealed to have earned him and his former school friend John Hartman about $1.4 million.
In 2016 a judge sentenced him to a maximum of two years in jail to be released on recognisance after serving a year.
