Hero, Shocker, Whinger of the week - The bionic edition.

Oh, no biggie. Just a superhero making the world a better place.

Welcome to Mamamia Rogue’s Hero, Shocker and Whinger of the week.

You probably already know how this works, but for those of you that don’t, welcome. This is the time where we get to unreservedly judge what we deem to be the best, most shocking, and most whingey moment of the week.

And here are this week’s finalists.

This week’s hero is…

None other than Iron Man himself.

This week actor Robert Downey Jr visited a very special fan with one very special mission: to share the love bionic power, of course.

You might also like: Captain America visited a children’s hospital yesterday – and the pics will melt your heart.

The dapper young fan, 7-year-old Alex Pring, is missing his right arm just above the elbow. So, Downy Jr did what any other superhero would do for an adoring young fan, he delivered Alex his very own, one-of-a-kind bionic arm (complete with flashing lights, of course).

Check it out. (BYO tissues).

Perhaps the real hero here though is Limbitless Solutions, a group that makes free bionic arms using 3D printing for kids in need like Alex.

This week’s shocker is…

The mysterious pooping man. No, this is not a joke.

There’s a manhunt on in Ohio this week as police attempt to identify a suspect who has “pooped on at least 19 parked cars in the last two years”. For reals.

A local news channel even tweeted a picture of the offender caught, erm, in the act:

Although police are yet to formally identify or charge anyone for the acts, we sure hope they catch this poopetrator soon.

This week’s whinger is…

Tess Sanders Lazarus and Glenn Lazarus. Because we couldn’t decide who the bigger whinger was.

Ms Sanders Lazarus was sacked from her position as parliamentary secretary for the Palmer United Party this week after claims that she had “failed to comply with the terms of her employment”. And her husband was quick to follow suit, quitting the party the following day.

Clive and Glenn in happier days.

But things got a bit #awkward after that, when the couple came out swinging at the PUP and bossman himself, good ol’ Clive Palmer. And while their may have been truth to it all, it did come off as a bit a lot of whinging…

“I do not think anyone should have to put up with this behaviour in the work place,” Ms Sanders Lazarus told The Australian.

“Glenn and I do not agree with bullying behaviour. I am disappointed that Clive has responded in this manner by making hurtful and untrue comments about myself and Glenn in the press.”

Perhaps someone should’ve warned Ms Sanders Lazarus that if she didn’t want people talking trash about them then she and hubby shouldn’t have gone into politics? Just a suggestion.

Do you have any other nominees for hero, shocker or whinger this week?
