On Friday night a tearful Robbie Williams struggled through Angels after dedicating the song to the victims of the Manchester Arena terrorist attack.
Williams was performing at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester when he dedicated his most popular single to the 22 people who died in the suicide bombing on May 22.
As the 43-year-old began to sing he became overwhelmed with emotion and wasn’t able to finish his sentences.
However, the crowd sung along to the lyrics in a touching symbol of unison and defiance.
Earlier in the night Williams changed the lyrics to his song Strong and asked the crowd to sing along with him.
The lyrics: “Manchester we’re strong, we’re strong, we’re strong” appeared on large screens for the crowd to see.

At the start of the concert, Williams announced: “We are Manchester and we’re not f****** scared”.
Williams heartfelt dedication came just one night before the terrorist attacks in London, which have left nine people – including three terrorists – dead.
