Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards wasn’t expecting an unwanted parenting lesson when she posted a sweet photo of her daughter Portia – but that’s exactly what she got.

Yes, it seems trolls couldn’t help themselves when the saw the photo Richards had shared of her nine-year-old in a bikini while on a family holiday in Italy.

“You should be ashamed and your daughter taken away from you. Not just for this pic, but for all the inappropriate pics you post of her!!” wrote one Instagram commenter.

“Don’t put your semi-naked small child on a public Instagram,” commented another (from her pet dog Molly’s account).

“Do you have any idea how many totally creepy men there are out there!”

However, the 48-year-old actress wasn’t about to let the hate roll in without a fight, responding to the pet owner.

“If that’s where your mind goes then shame on you,” the mum-of-four wrote.

“This is an innocent photo of a child just out of the pool.”

It seems Molly’s owner might just be the one to learn a lesson from that exchange – if you shame someone for their choices, prepare to be shamed right back.
