Sharing an image of her growing bump on Instagram, Queen Bey and her husband Jay-Z confirmed the happy news.

We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters

The Flawless singer and her rapper husband are already proud parents to five-year-old Blue Ivy.

The couples’ confirmation of their growing family comes just days after rumours began swirling that Beyoncé may be pregnant when a new ad for her athleisure line appeared online.

In the video for her Ivy Park collection, fans noticed that Bey appeared to be accessorising with a baby bump.

The video was quickly deleted from the web.

Rumours were rife that Beyoncé and Jay-Z's marriage was on the rocks after the release of her Lemonade visual album.

The singer penned a number of songs that seemed to hint her 47-year-old husband had cheated on her. The album ended with a note of forgiveness and a message that their love was stronger than ever.

Knowles and Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, married in a secret ceremony in 2008.
