Prince George is turning one today!

After a world wind year of travelling and visiting important old people he will probably never remember, our favourite mini royal can celebrate his birthday.

Kensington Palace confirmed that Prince George will celebrate his 1st birthday at home with family and friends. With a possible visit by the great-grandma (the Queen).

As for the cake, Kate’s brother, James will most likely be the one making it. He runs Nice Cakes so we know it won’t be one of those in-a-packet-cakes.

The palace has also released 3 photos of Prince George to mark the occasion.

The first was a photo of him showing the world that he can walk – just a few days before turning one:
