We're calling it. The People's Choice Awards red carpet is the most exciting one yet.

Another day in January, another red carpet event. But there’s something different about the People’s Choice Awards’ fashion parade  red carpet this year.

It’s actually… exciting.

There’s colour instead of the usual safe monochrome! There are ruffles to rival an Elizabethan costume drama! And there are enough sparkles and metallics to attract a whole swarm of magpies!

I might be calling it early, but this could very well be the most refreshing red carpet of the year.

1. Ruby Rose

Actress and DJ Ruby Rose proves orange really is the new black, rocking the brightest jacket-and-pants combo we’ve ever seen.

2. Blake Lively

In news that surprises no-one, Blake Lively has nailed the red carpet. Again.

3. Jennifer Lopez

Party up the top, sleek and chic at the bottom. Winner.

4. Kristen Bell

If you like dressing up as a human disco ball (as I do), 2017 could very well be your year, thanks to Kristen Bell.
