Look, we know nobody is perfect. Lord knows we’re definitely not. Sometimes it’s great to look back at our parent-of-the-year moments (or our own parents’ parent-of-the-year moments) and have a giggle at our failures. Check out this video that’s going viral. This guy drops his child … to catch a baseball. Admittedly, he does go back to check she’s okay but still, he must really love baseball…
Here’s some other parents who probably won’t be winning any Parent of the Year awards anytime soon..
What’s your mother/father of the year moment? Did your parents have any?

Okay......(deep breath) my son had a broken arm for THREE DAYS before I realised and took him to the doctor. He had fallen off the play equipment at school when he was 5 and complained about a sore arm...I just thought it was bruised...he's now 15 and I still feel guilty.
AND...my poor little 2 year old had head lice so big they looked like cockroaches - yep - we had never had head lice in the house and he hated having his hair combed...so I didn't realise. Still kicking myself about that one (and he is now ten)
One more....My partner's ex dangled their eight month old baby over our fence - a-la Michael Jackson - screaming 'don't you care about your son' - it was at least an eight foot drop to the ground below. That's just bonkers.
I don't know how many times I smacked my baby's head into the roof of the car lifting her up and over the overhead strap on the car seat because I couldn't be bothered undoing it. Each time I vowed to be more careful.
