Oliver Curtis has reunited with his wife and children after his jail release.

Footage has captured the moment Oliver Curtis was reunited with his family after serving a 12-month sentence for insider trading.

Video shows the husband of PR queen Roxy Jacenko walking on the tarmac towards a private plane where the couple’s two children, Pixie and Hunter, waited for his arrival at the door. After their long separation, the children excitedly hug their dad.

In June last year, Curtis was found guilty of insider trading after he profited $1.433 million from confidential information provided to him by an old friend.

In an interview with Mamamia earlier this year, Jacenko said the lead up to his verdict was riddled with anger and confusion.

“I remember before the sentencing I sat down and cried and I was like ‘what the f*ck has my life become? How am I even in this frickin position? Yeah sure, I ask everything about everything,” she said.

“But if you ask someone and they say to you ‘no I didn’t do it,’ how many times can you ask them the same question?”

She also told Mia Freedman she has resented the impact his incarceration had on the couple’s two children.

“As a mother, if you have children you have an obligation. I would forgo my own happiness for my children’s happiness. If I had a choice, I probably would have done things very differently…I wouldn’t have had children until this situation was sorted out because it’s not right” she told Mia Freedman at the time.
