Before I say anything about this story, let me say this… CAN CHANNEL 10 PLEASE STOP MESSING WITH US WITH CONFUSING “SNEAK PEEKS”?! I CAN’T TAKE THIS ANYMORE. I CAN’T DO IT. WHEN IS THE NEXT SEASON COMING OUT? I NEED A SET DATE.
Okay. I’m sorry. I’m done.
*Breathes deeply* SO the latest promo of everyone’s favourite Aussie TV show has just landed, and it’s a head scratcher. A real head scratcher. You see, when we last saw Nina’s adorable bub, Zoe, she was just that, a bub. BUT NOW it looks like she’s a fully grown human being human person, and The People are freaking out.
I mean, just check out the time travelling madness:
I know, WHAT THE HELL, right?! What is this sorcery? The kid already has better style sense than me. Her hair is longer and shinier than mine. She looks about 18 and like she’s enrolled in an undergrad uni course already (okay, she looks maybe four years old at a stretch… but still).
Does this mean we’re going to be watching a ~futuristic~ Proudman family navigating their way around indie, suburban Melbourne? Will they all be using iPhone 9s? Will deconstructed coffees be the norm? Will they travel everywhere via segways? Will Donald Trump be their supreme leader?
So. Many. Questions.
Hear Rosie and Laura’s take on the new season of Offspring on The Binge…
In all of this craziness, I am happy about one thing staying the same: Nina’s timeless combo of knee-high boots with a fun colourful scarf hasn’t gone ANYWHERE. Thank. God.
As for everything else, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
