It was the moment that shocked Australia, and for many, confirmed all the theories that Nikki will be crowned the Bachelor winner for 2016.

After introducing Richie to her family, Nikki seized the moment, dropping a huge bombshell and telling him that she was “totally in love” with him.

While we're sure many were watching and screaming "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT WHEN HE IS DATING THREE OTHER GIRLS?", Nikki revealed to us that there was a very good reason she told Richie her true feelings at that time.

"I think I dropped it a lot more than once, actually. Like, in case you didn't get it, Richie, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Oh God," she toldMamamia.

The one and only Keira makes an appearance on the latest episode of Bach Chat.

"There's no rules to feelings. Not that I'm out I've been reading that that's really early to be dropping those sorts of words...but I was just running with what I was feeling. If I didn't feel that way about him at that point, then I wouldn't have been dropping such big words!"

But why would you confess such strong feelings when the man you love isn't able to, you know, say anything back?

"Well, it nearly makes it easier, because you know that he can't [say it back]. He just has to take it and he can't say 'I don't love you' either! In this weird way it makes it easier because you can't have the confirmation, but you can't have the rejection either," she said.

Luckily, Richie handed Nikki a rose during the very next rose ceremony, which we all know is secretBachelorcode for "I really, really like you".

Of her 'L bomb' moment, Nikki said she has "no regrets".

"I'm in complete control of telling him how I feel, so why would I hold back when I might not get the opportunity again? I really wanted to be honest with him," she said.
