The mother of Australian Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman, Janelle Kidman, was rushed to hospital on Thursday after a terrifying health scare.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the 76-year-old was admitted to a North Shore hospital after a suspected ‘heart scare’.
Janelle was under observation, but has since been released into the care of her youngest daughter Antonia Kidman, a TV presenter.
"Janelle was taken to hospital last week but has since been taken home. Her daughter Antonia is home here and with her," a source told the publication.
"It wasn’t a mercy dash, she was already home. If it was anything super serious, Nicole would have been home straight away."
Oscar-winner Nicole is based in Nashville, Tennessee, where she lives with her husband Keith Urban and their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 8, and Faith Margaret, 6.
Janelle's health scare comes just two years after her husband, Dr Antony Kidman, died of a heart attack inside a Singapore restaurant.
Antonia Kidman's ex-husband, Angus Hawley, also passed away from a heart attack in April 2015.
