The first trailer for the new Stan Original Series Population 11 is here and it's wickedly funny.

The first trailer for the new Stan Original Series Population 11 is here, promising us a series that's equal parts comedy and crime thriller.

The upcoming 12-part series, which was filmed in Western Australia’s Kimberley Region, stars Ben Feldman (Superstore, Mad Men, and Silicon Valley) as Andy Pruden, a suburban bank teller from Ohio USA, who travels to a tiny outback town (with only 12 residents) in Australia to visit his long-lost father. Only to discover that his father has mysteriously vanished.

An American traipsing through the outback? What could possibly go wrong!

Inspired by true events, Population 11 follows Andy throughout the outback as he searches for his father. Along the way he teams up with Cassie (Perry Mooney) who assists him on his quest.

However, as they search for his father they find themselves in danger as they uncover a series of small-town secrets that may have been better left untold.

It's a classic caper with twists and turns (and dark laughs) as various characters within the show are given the suspect treatment.
