It's our favourite time of the month, dear friends. You know, where we get to share all our favourite beauty products? And sit and wonder if we have a beauty spending problem? Yes, that time!

This is where we talk about the stuff we've been slapping on our faces/bodies/hair/elbows in March and LOVING. And you know what? We reckon you'd love 'em too.

The Mamamia team have tried and tested plenty of new skincare, makeup, hair and body products this month — and we're positively bursting to share them with you. Because good beauty girls don't gatekeep products that actually work.

But before we get into it, listen to the latest episode of Mamamia's daily beauty podcast, You Beauty. Post continues after audio.

Here you’ll find reviews of the best beauty products that launched in March 2024, as well as the old favourites we’ve rediscovered.

Ouai Hair Gloss, $62.

"Celebrity hairstylist and brand founder Jen Atkin just launched this newbie — an in-shower hair gloss that's supposed to boost shine, reduce frizz and strengthen your hair. And you guys, it's good. Really bloody good. I used too much the first time (you really do only need a pea-size amount) — but once I followed the instructions properly; it had me sold. Healthy, shiny, salon-worthy hair in minutes." - Erin Docherty, Beauty & Health Editor.

"I haven't shut up about this hair gloss since I was first introduced to it. Replace your conditioner, add a pea size amount and leave it in for five minutes — all frizz will be gone and your hair will SHINE. 10/10 recommend." - Charlotte Begg, Morning Editor.

"This lip scrub has been ace, I’m especially a fan of the coconut one — tastes good and works a charm." - Isabella Ross, Senior News Writer.

Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask, $55.

"Much to my dry mug's excitement (I'm a big fan of the OG Sleeping Mask), Laneige has just dropped another stellar overnight formula in the form of Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask. Formulated for juicy, glowing and hydrated skin, it works as a breathable moisture barrier while you sleep, for beautifully happy, bouncy skin come morning." - Erin Docherty, Beauty & Health Editor.

Glasshouse Fragrances Desert Divine, $30.

"I got this adorable little on-the-go fragrance a few months ago. I just ran out and I am seriously devastated because it is the most beautiful scent EVER. The top notes are aloe water, green tea and apple. The most interesting, refreshing smell. I'd spray it in the office and have three people instantly turn around to ask what I'm wearing. WORTH THE MONEY!!!" - Shannen Findlay, Content Producer.

Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte's Magic Hydration Revival Cleanser, $52.

"Charlotte Tilbury's skincare products are my absolute favourite — I use the toner and face oil religiously. So when I saw they had come out with a cleanser to add to the range, I knew I had to try it. Created to double as both a cleanser and a hydrating mask, the texture changes from a cream to a foam to a milk. It feels so lush on the skin and removes all my makeup. I'm not surprised I'm a big fan." - Charlotte Begg, Morning Editor.

Feniu Anti-Aging Hydrator, $94.

Image: Supplied.

"I recently ran out of moisturiser (worst nightmare), so I dived into my beauty cupboard at home and pulled out what has now become my new MVP. It's a light moisturiser cosplaying as a rich, heavy cream and I mean that in the best way — it's deliciously hydrating, but without being heavy, so a great moisture booster for the trans-seasonal months when the weather can't decide if it's hot or cold. It absorbs really quickly and leaves my skin feeling quenched — not drowned." - Alix Nicholson, Weekend Editor.

Sundae Body Birthday Cake Foaming Wash, $20.

"I'm a sucker for anything birthday cake-flavoured so this went immediately in my shower — sweet, cute and great for shaving." - Charlotte Begg, Morning Editor.

Monat BB Cream SPF 40, $81.

"I love a BB cream for day-to-day, and this pick from Monat is one I tried recently. The formula’s a wee bit thicker than many other BB creams, which is going to be perfect as the weather cools down and my skin gets drier. It just smooths out and freshens up my complexion without looking or feeling heavy. It’s super hydrating too, so it's a good pick for the dry skin girlies." - Alix Nicholson, Weekend Editor.

Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturising Cream, $112.

"This moisturiser is cruelty-free, sulphate-free and super hydrating. I put this on and my skin starts bouncing back at me. It's packed with ceramides, Vitamin F, beetroot extract and even pomegranate! I've been using this day and night and I'm OBSESSED." - Shannen Findlay, Content Producer.

The Beauty Chef Plumpers Collagen Chewables, $45.

"I really do suck at remembering to pop a sachet of collagen in my water - but these newbies from The Beauty Chef (you can snap them up at Myer!) have me sorted. They're a range of chewable, collagen tablets available in three tasty flavours: Chocolate, Kakadu Plum & Berry and Orange & Tumeric. I leave them on my desk at work and take one every morning - such an easy way to get your fix!" - Erin Docherty, Beauty & Health Editor.

"I'm really good at forgetting to add collagen to my water and these have made it so easy. I keep them on my desk, eat three mid-morning and I'm good to go." - Charlotte Begg, Morning Editor.

Dr. PAWPAW Your Gorgeous Skin 3-in-1 Cleansing Balm, $25 and Skin Rejuvenating Night Cream, $30.

Image: Supplied.

"Remember how you used to have a tube of pawpaw ointment in every bag in high school? Well, I definitely did. Anyway, now the superstar ingredient is apparently having a revival (just like all good late '90s things) and I'm loving it. I've been using Dr. PAWPAW's cleansing balm and night cream lately, and have been courting lovely comments like 'Oh my god your skin is incredible' — so I'm going to assume these bad bois are (at least in part) to thank. Plus, they're a price point I can get behind." - Alix Nicholson, Weekend Editor.

Lashes of Change Customisable Mascara, $79.

Image: Supplied.

"I really did not think anything could replace my favourite mascaras but this beautiful product changed the game for my lashes. I've only been using it for a few weeks but it lengthens and thickens my lashes at the same time without much effort.

"The mascara is designed to encourage you to choose the brush/colour combo you LOVE, or TRY different brushes without having to purchase and waste multiple mascaras in the process. Also, 25 per cent of profits going directly to Breast Cancer research so it's definitely a worthwhile purchase." - Shannen Findlay, Content Producer.

Esmi Skin Minerals Thirsty Skin Plumping, $59.

"I'm an absolute fiend for a good sheet mask, and these are top-notch. Perfect for prepping the skin pre-event or when your skin needs an extra lick of moisture, it deeply hydrates while the peptide complex instantly plumps lines for a fresh, I-drink-lots-of-water complexion." - Erin Docherty, Beauty & Health Editor.

"This lovely serum feels incredible on the skin. The citrus scent is refreshing without being overbearing and I felt changes in my skin as soon as I began using it consistently. Non irritating, calming, moisturising and plumping with a very velvety finish." - Shannen Findlay, Content Producer.
