Over the summer break, the Mamamia team tried and tested plenty of new (and new to us) skincare, makeup, haircare and body care products, and we need to tell you about them immediately.

ColorWOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, $57.

"I know I’m a little late to the game but I’ve just tried the ColorWow Dream Coat, and now know why it’s so popular. If you don’t know about it, this is an anti-frizz, humidity-proof hair product that also doubles as a heat protectant. Dr Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Meltaway Cleanser, $19.

"I bloody love this cleanser and how it makes my skin feel post-wash (read: soft, hydrated and lovely). It melts away makeup with ease, but does it all without stripping and irritating the skin. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, $15.49.

"I needed a good sensitive skin cleanser to keep my face clean, with so much sunscreen and sweat from the summer. This stuff is consistently good - so simple, non-irritating and gets makeup, dirt and sweat off every time. Susanne Kaufmann Moisturising Mask, $94.

"My skin has been a literal flake in isolation, so I've been ramping up the hydration on the skincare front. I've been slapping on this mask from Austrian brand Susanne Kaufmann - and I must say, my skin feels better for it. I leave it on for ten minutes post-cleanse, and my skin immediately feels more hydrated, smoother and less angry. Weleda Stretch Mark Massage Oil, $28.95.

"Obsessed with this oil to nourish my skin as my preggy belly (read: whole body) stretches. I like the subtle botanical smell and it’s quick absorbency. Benefit The POREfessional Lite Primer, $56.

"Benefit dropped a new primer and it literally feels like clouds. It gives you the same pore-minimising and blurring effects as the OG, but it has a new ultra-lightweight feel to it. NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment in Somebody To Love, $37.

"When it comes to a matte lipstick, I’m a tough critic. It’s gotta be pigmented and it’s gotta have good hold (can it survive the day?). It can't feel too heavy and absolutely not drying on the lips. NARS delivers with this little gem. I love the rich earthiness of the tone, which is darker than what I’d normally wear, but it goes with everything and yes, I’m obsessed. Mikash Skincare Vitamin C Serum, $55.

"I'm a bit in love with this Vitamin C serum made by a Melbourne lady startup. It has definitely reduced my redness and the pigmentation in my T-zone (I swear it started working overnight). It's made with Kakadu plum and L-Ascorbic acid and has upped my skin glow and hydration, which my skin has been lacking.
