Netflix has let slip a secret way to unlock a new Black Mirror scene you might have missed.

Well, this is very interesting.

An official Netflix Twitter account has released a fun little trick that viewers can use to unlock a new Black Mirror: Bandersnatch scene they may have missed the first few times around.

For those not in the know, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch is a psychological thriller and interactive Netflix film set within the popular science fiction anthology series Black Mirror.

Bandersnatch is set in England in 1984, where a  young programmer named Stefan Butler (Fionn Whitehead) dreams of adapting a “choose your own adventure” book called Bandersnatch by tragic writer Jerome F. Davies (Jeff Minter) into what he hopes will be a revolutionary adventure video game.

In Bandersnatch, viewers can actually make decisions for the main character as they watch the movie and many fans believed they had already exhausted all the possible scene options and endings, until now. A brief tutorial, specific to the device the Netflix movie is being streamed on, explains to the viewer how to make choices.

The viewer then has 10 seconds to make choices, or a default decision is made.

Although you can normally finish the film in around 40 minutes, the average time is around 90 minutes, with some viewers spending hours cycling through the many options.

While Netflix had previously released some interactive programmes for children, starting in 2017 with Puss in Book, Bandersnatch is their first release targeted at adults, and the reaction to the new gimmick has been extremely positive.
