We’ve scoured the runways and fingertips of the most fashionable to identify the biggest nail colour trends of the season – and whether you like it subtle or stand out, they do not disappoint.
Metallics.
A winter favourite, metallic’s have stuck around for the last few years and it’s not hard to see why. They add a touch of shimmer without being over the top and go with just about everything. Naeem Khan took his one step further for his A/W ’17 runway show, combining metallics to create a gilded bronze texture.

Neutrals
These are anything but beige. They're a little bit quirky and texture-rich, designed to mimic natural materials. For Alexander Wang's A/W '17 show, nail artist Rita Remark for Essie achieved a concrete look by layering Sand Tropez with Sugar Daddy and finishing with a matte topcoat.

Ombre
Who said you had to commit to just one colour? Creatures of Comfort saw manicures of all different colours on each fingernail. The trick to not looking like you've been attacked by a primary school student is to try and keep them to similar tones to complement each other.
