The post that nails the truth about pregnant sex.

The Modern Mumma has gotten very honest about the realities of having sex while pregnant and her husband’s desire to do the deed.

Never one to shy away from talking about sex – Mel Watts has previously written about the awkwardness of having sex as the parents of young children – the blogger opened up about how she and her husband aren’t on the same page when it comes to intimacy.

The pregnant mum-of-three told her Instagram followers that she was feeling like a “beached whale” accompanied by a picture of her pregnant stomach.

“You know there are some women who thrive when they’re pregnant. They love a bit of loving from the big D and then there’s people like me,” she wrote.

Like many mums-to-be, she told herself she would “embrace” pregnancy and become the “best sex goddess ever”. But at 30 weeks pregnant, things were a little different to how she had envisaged.

“Well here I am. Beach whaled AF. Sweaty. Wearing a liner – not because I’m that kind of wet.”

“I have a rash on my stomach from stretching skin.

“My breasts are weapons they’ll knock anyone out.”

Watts shared her surprise that despite her being at her “worst”, her husband still “happily calls me beautiful and sexy”.

“Like what is wrong with this man?

“I’m at my worst. I’m leaking, I stink, I moan and grown, I’m hairy and I reckon I’d have more sweat under my titties than he’d have in his gooch on the hottest summers day.”

“And he still wants me.”

Watts wondered if it was that her husband was turned on by her pregnancy or had a heart-warming motive for his amorous advances.

“Maybe he’s one of those people that like this kinda situation?

“Or maybe he is just an amazing, caring doting and a terrible liar partner of an over emotional stretched pregnant wife.”

“Either way – I’ll keep him.”

Almost all of the post’s 200 or so commenters wholeheartedly agreed with the mum and thanked her for her honesty.
